I have no idea why this role as the word ‘sales’ in it.
No cold calling.
No outbound marketing
More converting inbound enquiries.
More hand holding of customers.
More leadership of the team
More a strategic partner to your clients
What’s the catch?
I’ve had multiple briefing sessions and I can’t find it.
Honestly, I guess it’s down to that old favourite
“we’ve always called it that”
But, as we know, the world has evolved and so have jobs.
The other reason is obvious.
This venue sells itself and is so well known in the industry, the mere mention of its name piques interest and everyone has an opinion of it.
Truthfully, some good and some bad.
This is where you come in.
With a background within venues and a history of customer/client services, this is the dream job for you.
You love the signing of contracts buzz but not the mass sales/marketing cycle of terror that comes with trying to drum up new biz.
You also adore the show rounds, the recce, sampling the F&B.
Especially the B.
But more importantly, you know what you can bring to the table and want to be rewarded for it and looked after properly.
You also know how important it is to be a consultant rather than a sales rep, as when you speak, others listen and trust what comes out of your mouth.
So, if you like the idea of sitting on the senior team, being part of the decision making, helping clients get the most from their budgets whilst mentoring and developing an eager team, click apply and let’s have a confidential chat.
Don’t worry if you’re CV isn’t up to date, we can deal with that later.
